BLOG #3 "Only 2 days left"
The Summer Bridge Program was a great opportunity for me to experiance college life. I got a better feel of how things are going to be, for when the fall semester comes around, i'll be prepared. With the library module i learned how to better research stuff for my own benefit for researfch papers. Also, i got a feel for the writing center help we recieve for free!!!! Yeah well I just hope they are a real good help during the year. Nevertheless, now I have a better feeling about turning in well written papers, with good feedback from the internet. Another insight would be that most professors I have met so far are pretty cool and are there to help and make the lesson entertaining so that we can stay focused. Other than, the diversity of the school campus is pretty neat because we all are interested in making new friends and pretty open to new things.
Based on all the experiances I have gone through this summer at Cal State San Marcos, the only obstacle I face is keeping up with my work. I really dependent on other people letting me know due dates. Because of this I do my assignment till the last minute. Responsability was one of my strenghts, and yeas I agree, even though I am not organized. Im responsible in the sense that I will get my work done. I will use my responsability, my relator, and commanding strenghts to better myself and achieve in college. To become a more productive person I will defenately use the EOP and campus resources. I feel like I get a lot more done at school where I am consentrated and not disturbed than at home. The writing center, the library, and the EOP office, will be like my best friends!!!

Meet Me....

Some people may already know me, but 4 those who don't let me introduce myself. I am Lorena Rodriguez Colin, but i like to go by Lola. I am sympathetic and self confident. I know what i want in life, and im not afraid to stand up for what i want and believe in. I like to make friends, im dedicated to school, i like to get what i want, and try and make every moment happy with no regrets and no turning back. Cuz something ive learned is to learn from mistakes. Talents i have r...acting, doing hair/makeup, dancing, etc. Any how.... Fallbrook is my hometown! Yeah, i graduated from Fallbrook High. There made many friends, including my best friends, Adriana Uriostegui, Leslie Ortiz, and Silvia Sotelo. Graduating high school and being the first one in my family to go to college is my biggest fullfilling experiance. CSUSM came 2 b my best choice 4 school. It is the closest to my home, i commute 40 minutes, and well it ment more savings. Im real excited about school right now, and want 2 major in mass media, 2 one day b an anchor. In all this my biggest influence i would say is my boyfriend because he is the one that has kept me motivated to continue school. I mean my parents support me and everything, i love them cuz they give me everything they can to help me, but i think my boyfriend has been the one who has given me so much advice and keeps me going. He is also continuing his education at Palomar, so becuz he has experiance with college stuff, he helps me out and guides me in the right path. because i need to stay on track for my fear is to have too much fun. Also, another fear i have is being 2 overwhelmed w/ hw. So its always good to give you advice and support. in this my girlys also play in, cuz they support me 2 and give great advice. I guess you could call them, my bf and my family my cheerleaders, there always there 4 me. Aside from school, i luv 2 have a good time. On my free time, i do enjoy hanging out with my girlys-best friends, my bf. Together we like to do craazzzy things, like party....that means dance.yeah we have good times....we also like to watch moveis, shop, swim, eat, just hangout, n best of all... try knew things. Soooo yeeeahh....thatz me!!!! LAterz......n dont 4get to drop by and say hi.
